Waking up in the heart of the Cairngorm Mountains, the rugged countryside is the ultimate playground for the outdoor enthusiast; climbing, exploring hidden forest paths, enjoying many cycle routes, whilst discovering hidden glens and beautiful landscapes.

Families enjoy the many local attractions and activities including the Highland Wildlife Park and the infamous Ospreys at Loch Garten or explore the rich and colourful history within the area’s many castles and museums. The Strathspey Steam Railway offers a relaxing mode of transport to take full advantage of the mountains and glens and the Landmark Visitor Centre provides a visit for all the family.

Whisky distilling is obviously at the heart of Speyside and the numerous distilleries offer an excellent opportunity to learn about the ancient processes of whisky distilling and enjoy a “wee dram” of the Water of Life.

Sporting opportunities are abundant within the area, with championship golf courses, prime trout and salmon fishing on the River Spey and ski-ing at the popular Cairngorm and Lecht ski slopes. Pony trekking, tennis, the Scottish sport of curling, canoeing, windsurfing, sailing and shooting are all available locally, so…

Don’t take our word for it….we look forward to welcoming you.
